• Oriental Rugs at Material Culture | Material Culture will hold their next auction ‘Oriental Rugs from American Estates’ on 23 January 2020 at 11 am in Philadelphia. The public preview exhibition is open daily 21-22 January from 11 am to 4 pm. The auction includes 271 lots and among them antique and semi-antique Persian, Caucasian, Anatolian and Chinese rugs and carpets.
• Textiles from Eurasia – Revisiting the Silkroad | In the first week of June 2020, from 3-5 June, the ICOC in conjunction with the TKF and the Mongolian Centre of the University of Vienna will organise a symposium ”Textiles from Eurasia – Revisiting the Silkroad”. The symposium will take place in the centre of Vienna at Palais Breuner.
• International Conference on Oriental Carpets in Istanbul 2020 | The Executive Committee of the International Conference on Oriental Carpets has just announced that its 15th International Conference will be held 20-23 October 2020 in Istanbul. The Conference will be held during Istanbul Carpet Week and in cooperation with the Istanbul Carpet Exporters’ Association.
• Collector rugs at Austria Auction Company | Austria Auction Company will hold their next auction ‘Collector Rugs IV – No Reserve’ 28 February 2020 at 3pm. This auction includes 136 antique rugs and textiles.
